2-I went over the Ka formula.
Please do Sheet #2 from the handout and 7,8 on Ka from the side of the green sheet textbook questions that were assigned yesterday were p 596 #9ab, 10 p 599 11a,12b, p 600-601 13a, 14b and 15a, 16b S.S...here are some notes
If you finish early you will work on the prelab....which has to be completely done for Wednesday in order to gain entrance to the lab
Chem 111- 1- I quickly pointed out molar mass to you 2-Today we worked on balancing chemical equations. Please do Sheet 4 A and B and copy sheet 18 into your notebook Homework :Text p 315 #48,49 , 53c and 54 c You received a handout of practice with balancing equations-try these over the next few days(It is very important to figure each equation out on your own so that you become proficient at balancing) 3- We worked with calculations involving the mole. Tuesday Mar 29 Chem 122 1- Labs will begin tomorrow. Remember no contact lenses, nylons or open toed shoes tomorrow 2-We reviewed Ka and looked at the answer to 7 from the side of the practise sheet. I also had you do sheet one( 1 to 3) that gave you some more practise with calcuator(number crunching ) Do p 611 24 to 27 for hwk during labs 3-I introduced you to Kb and assigned 6, 9 to 12 from the side of the practise sheet. 4- PRELAB-please have this ready to begin labs tomorrow.
